Bethany Kolacsky Portrait

Bethany joined Resource Consulting Group in April 2015 as a receptionist and administrative assistant. After spending time as the client coordinator, she now serves as a paraplanner.

Before becoming part of the RCG team, Bethany worked for eight years at Starbucks as a shift manager, coffee master, and friendliness ambassador. She studied engineering at the University of Central Florida after receiving her associate degree at Seminole State College of Florida, where she tutored in mathematics. Bethany graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in management.

In her spare time, Bethany enjoys cooking, renovating her first home, and spending time with her extensive family. She loves being the favorite aunt to her niece and nephews.

Personal Thoughts

I am blessed to have been born into a large, loving family. With two older brothers and a younger sister, I was always the “second mom” growing up. I always knew where and what my siblings were doing, and was there to administer band aids and ice packs whenever needed, to the extent Mom dubbed me “Nurse Bethany.”

Our household was a busy one. Dad worked hard to provide for our family so Mom could stay at home and homeschool us. She would take us to the science center, gardens, ballet, basketball, church groups, and soccer (where Dad was a referee). She also took us along when she delivered Meals on Wheels for many years. My father, on the other hand, was a former Marine who served in Vietnam. He has always been a strong and driven person, but the military influence ended there. He lit up our lives with his humor and his ability to make even the most difficult situations seem manageable. His patience was without end and he was never ashamed to express his love for each one of us. Money was sometimes tight, but my parents did the very best to provide us with a fulfilling childhood, all while imparting on us the importance of family and faith.

Growing up in such an environment instilled a wide range of values that I carry to this day. Compassion, gratitude, unity, and forgiveness, all of which are required to make a family work — especially one with so many siblings. These experiences have helped me cultivate a desire for collaboration and understanding at work. RCG’s team-based culture is saturated with thoughtfulness, for our clients and our employees, which is why I am grateful to be a part of this company and excited to see what the future holds.
