Resource Consulting Group was recently selected as one of the 2019 Orlando Sentinel Top Workplaces. The “Top Workplaces” program is produced by the Orlando Sentinel in partnership with Engergage, LLC, a provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.
This survey and award program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Central Florida, benefiting the region’s economy, its work force and businesses.
To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
- Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity;
- Be a publicly or privately held business;
- Have a facility in Central Florida (Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole, Sumter and Volusia County);
- Have at least 35 employees working in Central Florida, or if under 35 employees must have been honored by the Sentinel in 2018;
- Must be in business a minimum of one year.
Organizations from across Central Florida entered the two-part survey process to determine the Orlando Sentinel Top Workplaces. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top organizations and the final ranking. Energage managed the overall registration, survey and analysis process and determined the final rankings.
RCG ranked #2 amongst Legacy Companies (those with 35 employees or less). This is the fourth year RCG has made the list.
Public announcement of the list and rankings of the second annual Orlando Sentinel Top Workplaces program was published in the Orlando Sentinel on Sunday, August 11, 2019 and the annual awards luncheon was held for all list-making companies on Friday, August 9, 2019 at the Renaissance Orlando at Sea World, Orlando, FL.

Rankings are determined prior to the celebratory luncheon and participation in the luncheon has no bearing on the ranking.
