We hope this message finds you safe and well. We realize you are most likely feeling the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak in many ways. Although we are in uncharted waters, remember that we’ve been in unfamiliar territory many times before. Markets have always recovered, and each time they have moved on to all-time highs. We strongly believe this time will be no different.

Markets

With respect to the management of your investment accounts, we have rebalanced most accounts to take advantage of the lower equity prices. During the last recession, this tactic proved valuable to our clients and we will continue to look for opportunities to add value in a similar manner while we consider your personal situation and circumstances. We recognize that rebalancing and buying when the market is down can be scary. It’s important to remember that this strategy has rewarded investors when markets have exhibited similar behavior.

RCG’s Revised Office Protocols

As promised, we want to keep you up to date on the implementation of our business continuity plan and our response to the ever-evolving challenges that COVID-19 creates. We are working diligently to ensure you continue to receive the same high level of service you’ve come to expect from RCG.

The health and welfare of our clients and our team is top priority. Based on recommendations from our governing authorities and the Centers for Disease Control, and their amplified messages for social distancing, we are replacing all in-office client meetings with virtual meetings or conference calls. Our team is currently working on rescheduling all meetings through the end of April.

RCG’s office will remain open but will have a limited number of team members in the office daily. Most employees will work remotely effective Monday, March 23. All employees are equipped and trained to work from home, and RCG has the technological infrastructure necessary to sustain this.

You can still call us using our primary number, 407-422-0252, although the best way to reach your advisor or RCG staff is to email them directly. As always, we encourage you not to send any private information over email or text.

Our Commitment

As we work through this crisis, we will continue to monitor your portfolios using a calm but diligent approach. Please know that we are here and available for you to discuss any questions or concerns. Our hope is to be a voice of calm and reason for you during these uncertain times.
