Alexa Campos

Alexa joined Resource Consulting Group (RCG) in April of 2024 as a client service specialist. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in advertising/public relations and a minor in creative writing. Before joining the RCG team, Alexa gained experience as a teller at Wells Fargo for three years and spent one year at Charles Schwab's institutional call center.

In her spare time, Alexa enjoys crocheting, writing, and reading the endless books on her bookshelf.

Personal Thoughts

My mom always made it a point to teach me about their finances, so when it came down to managing mine, I was a step ahead compared to when my parents were young. At 15 years old, that never made much sense in my head, but once I started college and my first job, I quickly understood why my mom told me to be responsible with my finances. She taught me the importance of putting money aside every paycheck and to only buy what I can afford. Seeing how strict she was with her money, helped me have an idea on why I should take my finances seriously.

Growing up, I watched my parents work hard every day to provide me with a better life than what they had in Mexico. They knew their opportunities were limited and they wanted more for themselves and me. My parents sacrificed a lot for our family, and as I got older, I started to see their hard work pay off, going from a small one-bedroom apartment to a two-bedroom apartment closer to school, and then to a house. Buying a home was always their end goal, and it meant a lot for them to finally achieve it.

I'd like to say a lot of the attributes I saw in my parents carried onto me. I wanted to make the most of the opportunity my parents gave me, so I made sure to work hard in my schoolwork. I always strived for what I wanted, even though sometimes it didn't always pan out. My dad would often say to give it a try and if it doesn't work out, at least you know that path isn't for you. Most importantly, my parents have always been there to support me.

I think that is one of the reasons I feel at home with RCG, seeing how passionately everyone works together with their values in mind with every decision made. At RCG, I'm happy to work with a group of people excited to support their clients and help them meet their goals.
