Tamara joined Resource Consulting Group in 2026 as a wealth advisor and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional.

Before joining RCG, Tamara worked at Fidelity Investments as a financial consultant, where she delivered comprehensive financial plans and guided clients through retirement planning, tax-efficient strategies, and estate considerations. She previously held several roles at Charles Schwab, progressing from client service and trading to financial consultant partner. In these roles, she gained experience working with high-net-worth clients and supporting portfolio management and planning strategies.

Tamara earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from Butler University and holds Series 7, 63, and 66 licenses. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time near the water, and staying active.

Personal Thoughts

Growing up, conversations around money weren’t something we avoided—they were something we leaned into. I learned early on about saving, being mindful with credit, and understanding that financial decisions carry long-term consequences. At the time, I didn’t realize how uncommon that perspective was.

When I went to college, I initially pursued a finance degree with plans to enter corporate finance. That path shifted when a family friend encouraged me to apply to Charles Schwab’s apprentice program. The experience was eye-opening. Not only did I realize how much I still had to learn, but I also began to see how many people around me lacked access to clear, trustworthy financial guidance.

A second internship working with my aunts, who owned their own business, reinforced that realization. I saw firsthand how they relied on outside investment advice and the long-term impact that high fees and limited transparency could have. It made financial planning feel less theoretical and far more personal.

After graduating, I returned to Charles Schwab and built my career from the ground up— starting in service, moving into trading, and eventually becoming a financial advisor. Each step gave me a deeper understanding of not just markets and strategies, but of people, their goals, their concerns, and the real-life decisions behind every account.

Over the years, one belief has remained constant: Financial planning should be clear, thoughtful, and truly centered on the client. There is no one-size-fits-all approach, and there shouldn’t be. My goal is to help clients feel confident in their decisions, understand what they own and why, and ultimately use their resources to build their ideal life.
